This is a series I began over thirty years ago starting with simple pen and ink, brush drawings. I have made considerable changes to the images using photo-based images, photo-editing, paint and mixed media to mature the images. It's been a brewing process which continues to resonate with me. I see this collection of images as an ongoing project that will likely continue beyond the Mayan prophecy of 2012. Adapted form St. John's Book of Revelations I have tried to interpret some of the Patmos vision. Some of the images are very graphic and may be offensive to some viewers. Revelations is about God's dealings with the Mystery of Evil and the final triumph of the Mystery of Righteousness. St. John was also at times greatly perturbed and perplexed at what he saw. It is a book rich in symbols, therefore a very deep challenge for the imagination to visualize the text.
